September 19th;
One of the first days in Santa Barbara, we got a tour downtown by our mentor. The weather was amazing and everyone had their cameras out like real tourists. It was unbelievable that I was going to spend nine months in this beautiful town.



One thing that you have to do if you ever find yourself in Santa Barbara is to visit the courthouse. If you go all the way up to the top you get this stunning view of the whole town.


And lastly this was the street I lived on in my first host family. It was a long way to school, but it was worth it since I lived in the most loving family ever.

So, I thought that I would actually get my life together and continue to write a blog. I felt like started fresh, and I really have a lot of pictures and stories that I want to share with you. I also wanted to write in English since it is more of a challenge.


For those of you who don't know me: My name is Amanda, and I currently live in Santa Barbara. I'm here to study English, and I do so at EF International. I'm from the south part of Sweden and I am twenty years old. Photography has been one of my interests for a long time, and I really love to travel the world.
